Oliver! is presented in partnership with GO Pantry.

GO Pantry is a non-profit outreach providing food for hungry kids on days that schools are not open.

Charles Dickens began writing Oliver Twist after the Poor Law of 1834 was passed, which restricted government payments to the able-bodied poor unless they entered workhouses. Through Oliver Twist, Dickens sought to highlight the horrifying conditions in which lower classes lived, including impoverished children, and to help the less fortunate by advocating for change and reform.

In the same spirit, our goal in presenting Oliver! and partnering with GO Pantry is to raise awareness of the need within our own community and to help feed hungry children.

At each performance of Oliver! we will be collecting fruit cups, applesauce cups, and canned pasta.

Please consider bringing a donation when you come to see Oliver! All donated items will feed local kids in Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Grant, and Dearborn counties in Northern Kentucky.
